This workshop is an introductory overview of how to draw and paint seasonal, botanical watercolors from fresh specimens. We will cover tools and materials, selecting subjects, composition, use of a pin board, drawing techniques and watercolor fundamentals. Each student will then create their own botanical watercolor painting.

You’ll take home instructional handouts, a paint brush, watercolor paint samples, specimen pin board, 2-3 technique exercises, and a finished painting.

Tuition includes: 6 hours of instruction, take home tools and materials kit, lunch, drinks and snacks.

Workshop will be held at my studio in the woods outside of Berea, Kentucky.
