A workshop for students who have experience with the basics of watercolors and would like to explore more complex techniques for painting plants. Topics will include maintaining contrast, creating textures and developing your personal style. We will work as a class to complete technique exercises, then work independently to create a painting of your choice. There will be plenty of time for each student to receive one on one support for issues they would like input on.

Prerequisite of taking a previous watercolor workshop with Laura or having other experience painting with watercolors.

Each student will take home instructional handouts, a paint brush, watercolor paint samples, 2-3 technique exercises, a finished painting, and a small gift from my studio.
